This movie made me feel as if I were really in the conflict on Mars.  By that, I mean that it really felt as if it drug on forever. The effects were amazing, the action was great but the movie lacks several key features for me.  The acting was definitely sub-par.  The 'Doom Guy' (not the Rock) was great, but other main characters were worthless as actors and their lines didn't make it any better.

The scenery and settings were good looking, and it was a over-all alright movie, but being the Doom movie, I had much higher expectations and that is why I give this an "alright, but not reccomended movie."  Catch it if you like the crazy explosion movies, but if you're not already thinking about watching it, then don't.
